Woman to Woman (1923)

Plot

David Compton leaves his pregnant girlfriend, Louise Boucher, a dancer at the Moulin Rouge, to fight in the war, where he loses his memories. After the conflict, he starts anew and marries in London, while Louise, believing him dead, becomes a renowned dancer known as Deloryse and raises their son. However, she falls seriously ill. One evening, during a performance, David, now in the audience, suddenly regains his memories. When Louise discovers he is married, she entrusts their son to David's wife and takes a dancing job at a party, where she ultimately succumbs to exhaustion and heartbreak.
