Plot

Daisy Gomez, a family counselor in South L.A., strives to create a safer community alongside her husband Max, a dedicated gang interventionist. Their lives are upended when Max is arrested during a joint FBI and LAPD operation, risking a lengthy prison sentence. As county social services step in and take their daughter Sarah, Daisy finds herself in a desperate fight to clear her husband's name and reclaim custody. With time running out, she must navigate the complexities of the system while confronting the harsh realities of their neighborhood.
