Plot

At a luxurious Black Sea resort, hotel employee Gogu unexpectedly encounters his uncle Marin, a humble Oltenian peasant visiting for the first time. Eager to show Marin the lavish lifestyle, Gogu sneaks him into an empty room reserved for the wealthy American billionaire, Mr. Juvett. Marin is both bewildered and amused by the modern world and the attire of the resort guests, while they are intrigued by his traditional garb. As tensions rise, gangsters learn Juvett has arrived to pay a ransom for his kidnapped daughter, mistaking Marin for the billionaire and plotting to seize the money.
