Plot

Orphaned siblings Abilene and Tod grapple with their complicated feelings for one another on their isolated farm in the 19th century. Struggling with his emotions, Tod escapes to a nearby town, where he starts a passionate affair with barmaid Linda. As tensions rise, a brutal incident leaves Abilene traumatized, prompting Tod to seek vengeance against her attacker.
