Plot
Set in 1960s Paris, a wave of violent crimes disrupts the city’s peace. On March 22, 1968, executioner Louis Guilbeau carries out the death sentence of Hélène Picard, a prostitute convicted of multiple murders. Shortly after, a string of brutal killings reminiscent of Hélène's return, prompting questions about the connection between the executioner and the new wave of violence. Complicating matters, Louis is entangled in a romantic relationship with the police officer leading the investigation. Unraveling the truth behind these dark ties becomes imperative as the investigation deepens.
