Joe Gastineau, haunted by a past fishing boat tragedy, has resigned himself to a mundane existence filled with odd jobs. His life takes an unexpected turn when the free-spirited singer Donna de Angelo and her troubled teenage daughter enter the picture. Both women develop feelings for Joe, creating a complex love triangle that heightens the tension. When Joe invites them on a seemingly idyllic cruise along the Alaskan coast, he soon realizes that their journey may lead to unforeseen dangers, threatening not only their budding relationships but their very lives.
