Plot

Steven, a charming theater history professor, embarks on writing a generic thriller, only to find his characters rebelling against his vision. They demand a more nuanced character study and insist on transforming the script into a film. Among them is Vertigo, a captivating character inspired by Steven's sixth-grade teacher and his pattern of dating men with the same name. As Steven struggles to assert control over his creation, he grapples with the implications for his friendships and the outcome of his artistic ambitions.
