Plot

Robert Eastwood, raised in a strict Born Again Christian environment, is taught to see evil lurking at every corner. When he enters school, he’s dismayed to find his peers dismissing his beliefs about creation and the imminent return of Jesus. Torn between his zealous mother, who aims to spread love in a struggling mining town, and his rebellious friend Marcus, Robert becomes the focal point in a battle of faith. His world shifts dramatically upon discovering a dead body in the woods, leading him to believe he’s received a divine message. The Devil Outside explores the chaos of everyday life.
