Plot
In "All Hat," Ray Dokes, a charismatic former baseball player recently released from prison, returns to his rural Ontario hometown, only to find it under threat from a deceitful and affluent thoroughbred owner aiming to seize local farms. As urbanization encroaches on his childhood landscape, Ray resolves to steer clear of trouble. He reconnects with his old friend, Pete Culpepper, a grizzled Texas cowboy struggling to train underperforming racehorses while grappling with mounting debts. Together, they plot to outsmart the wealthy antagonist and protect their community's way of life.
