Fishtales (2007)

Plot

A Greek history professor and his daughter embark on a journey to a picturesque island, hoping to complete his thesis on ancient love spells before his research grant runs out. While she tries to play matchmaker for him with the island's women, her efforts fall flat. Everything changes when she encounters a stunning mermaid. With the mermaid's enchanting assistance, the professor may just discover the true love he has been searching for, transforming both their lives in the process.
