Plot

A brilliant programmer finds himself in a precarious situation after his search engine responds affirmatively to the query about the U.S. government's morality. Arrested and isolated, he becomes aware of the societal implications of his creation. In a bid for freedom, he negotiates with his captors, agreeing to modify the software. As they probe the ethical implications of his program, tensions rise, testing the resolve of both the programmer and his interrogators. Blending suspense with dark humor, S.E.R.P. explores themes of coercion, innovation, and the moral dilemmas of serving a potentially nefarious agenda.
