Plot
In "Spanglish," Flor Moreno, a Mexican immigrant and devoted single mother, secures a job as a housekeeper for affluent couple Deborah and John Clasky, who have two children. When Flor struggles to balance her work schedule with caring for her daughter, Cristina, Deborah suggests that they all move into the Clasky residence. This arrangement leads to cultural misunderstandings and escalating tensions as Flor and the Claskys navigate their distinct parenting styles and lifestyles while sharing their living space, ultimately confronting the complexities of their differing backgrounds.
