Plot

Gary and Mary set off on an adventurous journey along the 2,600-mile Pacific Crest Trail. As they hike, Gary, a Black man, faces societal stereotypes surrounding Black individuals in outdoor spaces. Throughout their trek, he not only forges connections with other hikers but also grapples with the inherent challenges of the wilderness. The journey becomes a profound exploration of identity, resilience, and the shared love of nature, highlighting the unique experiences of Black individuals in outdoor settings.
