Plot

Fifteen years after their groundbreaking indie film catapulted them to success, Splick and Jason find themselves facing personal crises as they approach midlife. Their long-standing silence, stemming from a late-nineties fallout, is punctuated by stalled careers and strained relationships. Splick’s recent TV show, which humorously explored his character’s obsession with desserts, is abruptly canceled, forcing him back to his childhood home in New York. Overwhelmed by nostalgia for their past successes, he decides to reconnect with Jason in hopes of rekindling their creative partnership and reigniting their passion for filmmaking.
