Plot

Steve Raleight dreams of bringing a new production to Broadway. With support from financier Herman Whipple and aspiring actress Sally Lee, he faces a hurdle when Caroline Whipple insists on casting a seasoned star instead of a newcomer like Sally. Undeterred, Sally revives her passion for horse training by acquiring a horse from her childhood farm. Alongside former vaudevillians Sonny Ledford and Peter Trott, she trains the horse to compete and win a race, ultimately securing the funds Steve needs to realize his theatrical ambitions.
