Plot

Steve, a 25-year-old Black man hailing from the suburbs of Paris, dreams of breaking free from the violence that surrounds him by pursuing acting at a renowned drama school. However, he quickly realizes that the theater industry is fixated on pigeonholing him into stereotypical “Black” roles, stifling his aspirations. As he navigates the challenges of a creative landscape that often marginalizes his identity, Steve grapples with the limitations imposed by societal expectations and strives to carve out a space for authentic self-expression in a world that seeks to define him.
