Plot
Dante Fontana, an antique dealer from Perugia, yearns to immerse himself in British high society, despite the mockery from his wife and family who view his aspirations as foolish. Undeterred, he embarks on a trip to London, eager to deepen his understanding of the elite culture he idolizes. Once there, Dante's attempts to assimilate lead to a series of blunders that expose his Italian roots, earning him the disdain of the very upper-class individuals he wishes to impress. His journey unfolds as both a comedic struggle and an exploration of cultural identity.
