Plot
In 1915 Argentina, Köhner, a tyrannical foreman, dominates a yerba mate plantation and makes his way to Posadas, accompanied by a physician and his striking daughter. Their mission is to recruit laborers for the plantation, but Köhner's oppressive methods and iron grip over his workers create tension and resistance. The trio's arrival sets the stage for conflict as they navigate the complexities of power and exploitation in a changing society, revealing the harsh realities of life on the plantation and the struggles of those who toil under Köhner's rule.
