Plot
A reclusive American professor enjoys his tranquil existence in a lavish Roman palazzo until an intrusive Italian marchesa and her entourage disrupt his solitude. Reluctantly, he rents them an upper-floor apartment, transforming his serene routine into a whirlwind of upheaval. The antics of the marchesa, her daughter, and her daughter's boyfriend lead to surprising revelations and shifts in everyone’s lives.
