Plot

"Only 78" presents the poignant journey of an interracial American gay couple who relocate to a picturesque fishing village in Cape Breton. Their idyllic new life, however, is soon overshadowed by the looming dangers of climate change threatening the community and its way of life. Through intimate interviews and striking visuals, the documentary explores the couple's experiences as they navigate love, identity, and the urgent environmental challenges facing their new home, highlighting the resilience of both their relationship and the community they now call home.
