Plot

After a decade of wandering and battling alcoholism across the country, Matt Ballot returns to his small Arkansas town in the 1920s. His long-suffering wife has successfully raised their 14-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son in his absence. Unfortunately, Matt is met with disdain from the community and struggles to reclaim his place in their lives. Determined to earn back his family’s love and regain the respect he lost, he faces the daunting challenge of rebuilding relationships while confronting the ghosts of his past.
