Plot
Inspired by the haunting history of Oscarville, Georgia, "Lanier" follows detective Jeff Stevenson as he takes his family to Lake Lanier for a birthday getaway. What begins as a relaxing vacation quickly shifts into a tense investigation when Jeff, intrigued by a drowning case, partners with local detective Daniel Wilson. As they delve into the lake's dark secrets, Jeff dismisses Daniel's claims of supernatural occurrences linked to Oscarville, a once-vibrant Black community submerged after a tragic incident in 1912. Tensions escalate when masked intruders invade their home, turning their trip into a desperate struggle for survival.
