Plot
Dr. Robert Verne and his wife, Maggie, arrive to mediate a conflict between a logging company and a local Native American tribe led by Chief John Hawks. The chief claims the loggers are contaminating the water, a point vehemently denied by Isley, the company representative. However, the increasingly bizarre mutations seen in local wildlife raise alarms for the Vernes. When Robert captures a bear cub for research, he unwittingly provokes a furious mutant grizzly, forcing him to confront the real dangers lurking in the forest.
