Battle of the V-1 (1958)

Plot

In 1943, schoolmaster Stefan Novak (Michael Rennie) and his watchmaker friend Tadek (David Knight) join the Polish resistance led by Stanislav Muski (Peter Madden). To gather intelligence, they willingly get captured by the Nazis and sent to a labor camp on the Baltic coast. There, they uncover a massive facility producing V-1 rockets intended for an assault on London. After alerting the resistance, their efforts lead to an Allied raid that devastates the plant. Yet, with the Nazis planning another site, Stefan and Tadek embark on a perilous mission to capture a V-1 rocket and expedite its transport to Britain for defense preparation.
