Plot

Aboard HMS Scotia, officers celebrate Captain Robert Randall’s engagement to the delightful American, Jill Eaton, with a grand party on the French Riviera. Among the attendees are Jill’s friend Mary Carlton and the lively redhead, Antoinette. However, when the last boat to shore is declared unfit, the women find themselves stranded on the ship overnight. Chaos ensues as the officers scramble to hide the girls from the prying gaze of Admiral Hewitt, who unexpectedly decides to inspect the Scotia that evening, leading to a night of comedic misadventures.
