Plot
Rajvinder Singh, a passionate hockey player from Toronto, sacrifices his Sikh traditions and education to pursue his dream of going pro, much to his father Darvesh's dismay. Facing ridicule from mainstream Caucasian players and even his friends, who mockingly suggest he stick to traditional sports, Rajvinder remains determined. He finds inspiration in law student Melissa Winters, while her brother, Dan, steps in to coach Rajvinder and his fellow Sikh players. With no team willing to accept them, they decide to create their own, fighting for respect on and off the ice.
