Plot

Jake Wade frees Clint Hollister from prison to settle an old score, but tensions run high between the two. After their uneasy parting, Jake resumes his role as a small-town marshal and looks forward to marrying his fiancée. However, Hollister tracks him down, revealing their shared past in a gang and Jake's knowledge of hidden bank heist loot. As they escape into the mountains, Hollister and his men kidnap the marshal and his bride-to-be, coercing Jake to lead them to the treasure, putting both his love and life at risk.
