Plot

In "The Gardener of Argenteuil," Tulipe, an elderly man living in a dilapidated railway carriage in the Parisian suburb of Argenteuil, dedicates his life to gardening and oil painting. However, he harbors a surprising talent as a master forger, creating flawless replicas of 10 franc notes. When his godson uncovers this secret, his girlfriend sees a chance for wealth and persuades Tulipe to forge 500 franc notes. With Tulipe's reluctant agreement, they splurge on a luxury car and villa, but their fortunes take a dark turn as Tulipe befriends a wealthy playboy, complicating their scheme.
