Plot

Laid-back detective Byung-su heads to the Philippines with his family to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. However, he secretly plans to confront his former friend Yong-bae, who swindled him years prior. Upon arriving in Manila, he discovers Yong-bae behind bars for murder, where he also learns about the infamous treasure known as 'Yamashita’s Gold.' Tempted by Yong-bae's offer of a share in the treasure, Byung-su finds himself unexpectedly drawn into a dangerous investigation that intertwines friendship, betrayal, and a quest for hidden riches.
