Plot

A German film crew travels to a secluded village in northeastern Turkey to document the life of an elderly Kurdish woman. As she enacts a poignant ritual to honor her deceased son, a young translator assisting the crew juggles her role while caring for seven-year-old Melek. Unbeknownst to them, Melek’s father is involved with a mysterious organization, shrouded in secrecy. This convergence of lives and stories sets the stage for an unforeseen tragedy, revealing the deep complexities of memory, loss, and the hidden ties that bind them all.
