Plot

Alan Wong, a determined young man from Hong Kong, is eager to rise in society. He seizes a chance to join a real estate firm, aided by Erica, a mixed-ethnicity woman and the mistress of a foreign businessman. As Alan navigates the corporate world, he quickly learns to capitalize on opportunities, achieving a prominent position. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Cheung Ting Ting, a Mainland Chinese girl who has entered Hong Kong illegally. Compassion for her plight grows into a deep affection that complicates his ambitions.
