Plot
J, a teenager grappling with Gender Identity Disorder, resides in a rural area and identifies with the pronoun “they.” To delay puberty, J takes hormone blockers. When their parents leave for an extended period, J’s older sister and her Iranian boyfriend step in to house-sit and care for them. As they navigate the complexities of J's identity and the challenges of adolescence, tensions rise and relationships are tested, highlighting the struggles of acceptance and understanding in a shifting family dynamic.
