Plot

In "Ripley's Game," the enigmatic and sophisticated Tom Ripley resides in a beautiful villa in the Veneto with his girlfriend, Luisa, who plays the harpsichord. When a former associate from Berlin's criminal underbelly approaches him for assistance in eliminating a rival, Ripley devises a cunning plan. He targets Jonathan Trevanny, a gentle local picture framer facing terminal cancer, and attempts to manipulate him into becoming a killer. With a wife and young son to care for, Jonathan’s involvement raises questions about Ripley’s control over the situation, the morality of their actions, and the potential for Ripley to feel guilt.
