Plot

Set in the 1850s, a logging town along the Mississippi River is at odds with the lumberjacks from downriver. Tensions rise further when the glamorous riverboat, River Lady, owned by the enchanting Sequin, docks in town. Amidst this backdrop of conflict, romance and betrayal unfold. Bauvais, a member of the local lumber syndicate and Sequin's business partner, is determined to persuade H.L. Morrison, the mill owner, to part with his business. As passions ignite and loyalties are tested, the stakes grow higher in this tale of ambition and desire.
