Kuncen (2025)

Plot

After going a full day without any word from her boyfriend, who was scaling a mountain, Awindya, a high school student, decided to enlist her friends Agnes and Mojo to join her in searching for him at Mount Merbabu. Upon their arrival, they learned that the mountain’s caretaker, known as Kuncen, had died under mysterious circumstances linked to black magic. Teaming up with Yoga and Diska, who were also grieving their own losses on the mountain, they resolved to uncover the identity of the new Kuncen to help locate their missing loved ones. Local lore warns that without a Kuncen, the mountain becomes a realm of dark secrets, haunted by supernatural forces. Will they manage to find the new guardian of the mountain?
