Plot
Seven-year-old Matías comes home from a birthday celebration to find his mother, Laura, collapsed on the floor. After regaining consciousness, Laura chooses to flee their home and seek refuge at a shelter for abused women. They spend 48 hours there, during which Laura contemplates a fresh start. Through Matías’s perspective, the audience experiences their harrowing escape in a city that feels increasingly unfamiliar and threatening. Ultimately, Laura is determined to find a safe environment where she can raise her son away from the shadows of their past.
