Plot

A scuba diving instructor teams up with her biochemist boyfriend and her police chief ex-husband to investigate a string of mysterious fatalities. Their search leads them to a sunken freighter off a Caribbean island resort, which harbors a terrifying mutant strain of piranha fish. As the body count rises, the trio races against time to uncover the deadly truth and prevent further carnage.
