Plot

Akeem Sharp is poised to become Jamaica's next track-and-field prodigy, with dreams of competing in the U.S. to reunite with his mother, who has worked tirelessly as an undocumented immigrant for years. However, his ambitions are overshadowed by family chaos, including a turbulent relationship with his father and an older brother whose disruptive antics threaten Akeem's budding career. As he navigates the pressures of success, Akeem must not only validate his potential but also confront the challenges that risk derailing both his dreams and his family's stability.
