Plot

Set in the 18th century within the rugged mountains of Wallachia, this film follows a group of rebels determined to challenge the oppressive reign of the Phanariots and the Ottomans. Central to the narrative are stepbrothers Sarbu and Amza, whose turbulent and often brutal relationship drives the story forward as they navigate the dangers of their rebellion. Their bond is tested as they confront not only external enemies but also their own conflicting loyalties and ambitions.
