Plot

During the summer of 1898, a band of German settlers embarks on a treacherous journey towards the goldfields of Dawson, leaving Ashcroft, the last railway stop, behind. Led by the charismatic businessman Wilhelm Laser, the seven adventurers are fueled by dreams of wealth but are unprepared for the harsh realities ahead. As they traverse the daunting 2,500 kilometers, challenges like inclement weather, exhaustion, and interpersonal strife mount, pushing them to their limits. The vast and unforgiving wilderness transforms their quest for fortune into a fight for survival.
