Plot

Eighteen-year-old Ramón's dreams of reaching the United States crumble after five unsuccessful attempts. Desperate for a new start, he sets out to find a friend’s aunt in Germany, only to come up empty-handed. Stranded without money or documents, he struggles to survive on the streets. His luck changes when he encounters Ruth, a retired nurse who doesn’t speak his language.
