Plot
Set in the early 20th century, the vibrant Catfish Row in Charleston, South Carolina, is a haven for a close-knit African American fishing community. Porgy, a disabled beggar who navigates the neighborhood in a cart pulled by a goat, harbors deep feelings for Bess, a young woman struggling with addiction.
