Plot
A dark threat emerges on Erin Island, a peaceful fishing village off the coast of Ireland, as fishermen vanish and whale carcasses wash ashore. Chaos ensues when murders begin, forcing two unlikely police partners—a carefree alcoholic and his diligent new colleague from the mainland—to rally the townspeople against enormous, bloodsucking aliens. Surprisingly, their best defense against these tentacled invaders turns out to be alcohol. To survive the nightmarish attack, the villagers must embrace a wild strategy: get thoroughly inebriated to outwit the monstrous foes.
