Plot
Set in a post-apocalyptic 21st century ravaged by bio-terror, humanity has split into two distinct groups. The Nokusu, survivors of a deadly virus, possess antibodies but are highly sensitive to UV light, leading them to thrive at night. In contrast, the Kyurio, who never contracted the virus, face discrimination from the Nokusu. Tetsuhiko Okudera, a Kyurio from a struggling village, longs for the advantages of being a Nokusu. His childhood friend, Yui Ikuta, is determined to uplift their impoverished community, navigating the challenges of a divided society in the process.
