Plot

On February 8, 1977, Tony Kiritsis entered an office in downtown Indianapolis and attached a shotgun to mortgage broker Richard Hall’s head. His 40-minute 911 call fluctuated from calm politeness to furious outbursts and tears. As Kiritsis led Hall through the streets, a swarm of police and media trailed helplessly behind, unable to intervene. For three tense days, SWAT teams, the bomb squad, and the FBI scrambled to find a safe way to defuse the situation. The standoff reached a gripping climax during a live televised press conference that left viewers stunned.
