Plot

Detective Xingmin embarks on a perilous investigation into a gruesome murder, discovering the victim grotesquely displayed in a basement. Veteran detective Laozhou believes it’s linked to a long-unsolved string of murders targeting prostitutes. As Xingmin delves deeper, she grapples with deeply rooted biases stemming from her traumatic past, which complicate her pursuit. Strikingly, she feels an unsettling connection to the killer. To solve the case, she must confront her demons and put herself in jeopardy, ultimately seeking the truth hidden beneath her fears.
