Plot

Set in Paris during the early 1960s, "The Women on the 6th Floor" follows Jean-Louis Joubert, a serious stockbroker trapped in a monotonous life with his snobbish wife, Suzanne, and their two arrogant teenage sons in boarding school. His mundane existence is transformed when Maria, the delightful new maid, introduces him to the vibrant world of the Spanish maids living on the sixth floor of their upscale building. These lively women, particularly the enchanting Maria, inspire Jean-Louis to embrace a richer, more fulfilling life, leading him to become a more open-hearted and better person.
