Plot

A vibrant Afro-Cuban community preserves the songs and dances passed down from their ancestors who journeyed on a slave ship from Africa. Two centuries later, a group of Africans discovers this cultural legacy and joyously exclaims, "They Are We." This documentary chronicles the remarkable journey of these individuals as they reconnect with their roots and strive to unite across generations. Through music and dance, they celebrate their shared heritage and the enduring bonds of identity and history.
