Plot

Set against the backdrop of WWI, a doctor and lawyer transform a dilapidated mountain chateau into a health spa, drawing in patients from all walks of European life. Many arrive with false hopes and even more questionable identities. The proprietors also harbor secrets, including a hidden area for injured soldiers facing grim fates. While the facility exudes an air of sophistication, it masks the guests' darker activities. What begins as a quirky comedy takes a sharp turn towards tragedy as unnatural deaths begin to occur, revealing that even the fresh mountain air can’t shield them from despair.
