Plot

Eighteen-year-old Li Qi faced disappointment after failing her college entrance exams. Defying her mother, she refused to return to school as a repeat student, which only strained their relationship further. During a birthday party for her classmate Xiaowei, an argument erupted, leading Li Qi to smash Xiaowei’s new iPhone in a fit of anger. This incident turned her once tranquil summer upside down. When Xiaowei demanded compensation, Li Qi decided to keep it a secret from her mother, vowing to handle it on her own. This secret became a heavy burden, forcing her to reevaluate her connections with both her mother and the world around her.
